ABOUT YOU...

Your experience means you can quickly understand a company's problems and begin prescribing actions that are founded in practicality and which maximise both the client's gains and ours as service-provider.

You can create and implement marketing activities geared toward real and explicit objectives. You’ve been a marketing manager, general manager or a marketing consultant before.

You are a skilled manager of time, aware that every chargeable minute must be used well, and that unchargeable time might be a necessary investment but it's a robber of revenue.

You are a clear, compelling and professional communicator, in person and in writing. You are as comfortable writing a business plan or advertisement draft as you are selling an idea to an individual or explaining your marketing plan to a client's board.

You want a flexible working environment with control over the hours you put in and where you work. You're comfortable working productively from home.

You are a constant learner. You have a degree in business-related studies, but that was just a foundation. You constantly add to this with industry awareness, professional development, case studies, anecdotes and trends.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE...

This is a contractor role, based in Sydney. You're paid a high rate for every chargeable hour you put in. We expect that if you worked 5 chargeable hours a day, 5 days a week, you would be running a balanced schedule and you would earn well into six figures while still taking 4-6 weeks of holiday time.

We conduct our own marketing campaigns using a variety of media and we will feed you with new prospects. But your own conversion and consulting efforts will be the difference between a good salary and an exceptional one.

There are four main parts to your role with us... analysis, strategy creation, strategy execution and business development.

You'll be designing and implementing market and competitor research and using the resulting data to spot opportunities and help create a powerful positioning for your clients.

You'll develop new marketing strategy and then manage multiple projects and the details within them to achieve your client's objectives... growing their business faster.

You will also work closely with our creative team, drawing on their graphic design, copywriting and website development skills.

In fact, your work is an important contributor to the workload of our creatives, and in addition to the generous revenue you can earn from your core consulting, you will enjoy 5% of the value of creative work you gain for your creative team.

Importantly, this role is not a franchise sale in disguise. You are not required to put in a single dollar up front, nor in royalties. You get paid a direct and generous proportion of the chargeable hours you invoice and we will supply you with regular new prospects. When you do well, so do we.

You will be an integral part of our team, meeting with us regularly and able to draw upon our team to help deliver the marketing strategies, collateral and actions our clients need.

To supplement your experience, we will provide some background learning opportunities that ensure we’re on common ground.

Within 2 weeks of joining our team, you would be expected to be a productive and highly contributing member of the team.
